Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) will pursue the acquisition of a US-based quick service restaurant operator with a market value of at least $1 billion to boost expansion in North America, chairman Tony Tan Caktiong said.
“We are still looking at the quick service restaurant business generally. We are looking for a regional brand so we can expand it. We are looking at a growing chain,” he said.
No timetable was set for the fast-food chain’s first US acquisition.
