Manila Water Company’s (MWC) Clark Water Corporation has programmed PHP 300 million in capital expenditure for next year, nearly half of which will be spent to develop new water sources for its service area.
The company will be allocating majority of next year’s budget to building and commissioning new water sources such as deep wells and infiltration wells.
This also includes the on-going feasibility study on tapping surface water as additional supply source in the area.
It will also construct new water treatment facilities, storage tanks, and booster facilities, while upgrading and refurbishing existing facilities.
This is in-line with the company’s PHP 3.9 billion Capex until 2040.
